Music Lessons available in all styles of music from beginner to advanced. The instructor gears the lesson towards the needs of the individual student, teaching a basis of theory in the style of music the student is interested in.

A deposit of one lesson is required to make an appointment for the first lesson.

The initial deposit pays for the last lesson.
24 Hour cancellation notice required. Call by 6:00 PM the night before the scheduled lesson and there is no charge to cancel or change. Canceling or changing on the day of the scheduled lesson requires payment for the lesson time reserved.

Salomé is a singer and guitarist with 30 years of teaching and performance experience. She is completing a Masters in Music in Historical Performance at Longy School of Music . She is a multifaceted artist who sings and accompanies herself with lutes, early and classical guitars. She teaches voice, ukulele, piano and guitars (classical, folk, pop and electric). She tailors lessons to the students interests and needs, believing that it is never too late to learn a musical instrument, and that music should always be educational and fun.

Dan is a singer/songwriter, guitarist, bassist, and classroom teacher who grew up in Somerville, MA. He got his start in music at a young age with lessons at Guitar Stop, and he currently plays bass in a Brazilian cover band. Favorite genres include funk, folk, and all sorts of rock. Dan has also worked in high school music classrooms. He loves teaching and learning, and right now he is practicing up his banjo and piano chops.

Marina is a classical guitarist currently pursuing her master's degree in Performance/Guitar at Longy School of Music. She completed her bachelor studies in Music Education with major in guitar at the Mozarteum University in Austria. She has over five years of experience in teaching classical and pop/rock music to children and adults. Lessons are also available in Portuguese and Spanish.

William is originally from Santander, Colombia and began his music career as a student at AMMUS, a music academy in Bucaramanga. Upon graduation, William sought to further his music education at Berklee College of Music, and in 2020 was accepted at Longy School of Music of Bard College, where he pursued his Master’s degree in Jazz composition and Performance. At the same time he became a Certified Music Practitioner through Music for Healing and Transition Program institute. He loves to help people achieve his goals and dreams in the beautiful path of music. With more than 7 years of experience as a teacher, he wants to show his students how important and strong the influence of art is in each person's daily routine, hobby or on a professional level. Music can change lives as it changed his own.

Alex started performing at an early age, focusing on Punk, Grunge, & Alternative Rock. He has played bass & guitar at many venues in New York & Boston, including TT the Bears, the Knitting Factory, the Precinct, & Arlene’s Grocery, with the bands At The End of the World & The Scatter Gang. Today, he performs as a Folk Singer/ Songwriter with Tali Freed & The Mandolin.

Tali is a local Singer /Songwriter from Pennsylvania. She graduated from Berklee College of Music, where she studied voice. Tali sings lead & background vocals in bands and on recording sessions, focusing on contemporary styles. She has also played keyboard, mandolin & violin in various bands and for her own music. She is a veteran of a professional touring Theater Company

Yami is a guitarist and musician currently completing his degree in Professional Music at Berklee College of Music. He has over 12 years of experience playing guitar in professional settings both nationally and abroad. He is a jazz-trained guitarist, who brings the same level and love to all genres of music including funk, rock, pop, blues and more... His performance experiences include clubs and festivals in Israel, California, and Boston, as well as playing biweekly gigs in old skool cafe in San Francisco

Logan is a multi-instrumentalist who obtained his Bachelors of Music Degree in Music Education and Guitar Performance at The Berklee College of Music. Logan excels in teaching electric guitar within the genres of pop, rock, blues, funk, and fusion. In addition to electric guitar, he also is available to teach acoustic guitar, bass, ukulele, and piano. With six years of teaching experience, and using the same techniques taught to him from lessons with guitar greats such as Tomo Fujita, Nir Felder, and Scotty Johnson, Logan will boost any instrumentalist to be the greatest musician they can be.

Travis is a guitarist, composer and recording engineer. He graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2002. His style is unique, with Jazz, Country, Blues, Bluegrass, and Roots Rock flavors. He has worked as an Artist Instructor at the Savannah Music Festival, and Guitar Instructor at Georgia Southern University. His other projects include: The Pullmans Country Blues / Western Swing, and performing with the Somerville Symphony Orkestar.

Catherine’s styles include Classical, Rock, Pop, Funk, Blues, Jazz, Punk & Surf. Her song “Acid Django” is featured on the History Channel’s show American Pickers. Catherine was featured in Guitar World Magazine as one of the “Female Guitarists You Should Know”. She recently collaborated with Christina Goh (France) on a project, "Hors Format- Oversize" released on Plaza Mayor LTD out of London. Her work on indie film soundtracks garnered "Best Score" awards for "Blood of the Tribades' and 'Magnetic'. In 1993, Catherine won the Red Special Guitar contest judged by Queen’s Brian May. She’s performed in New England and Europe with bands including: Axemunkee, Darling Pet Munkee, All the Queen’s Men, & Ziaf.
